We’re excited to launch the first UniReps meetup in collaboration with UCL NeuroAI. We eagerly anticipate your participation > Register here
This meetup builds on the success of the Unireps workshop at NeurIPS 2023-2024, continuing the exploration of unifying representations in neural models. This time, we’re placing a stronger emphasis on the neuroscience perspective. Our meetup aims to explore the emergence of similar representations from diverse neural models, both artificial and biological, when exposed to similar stimuli. We will investigate the reasons, conditions, and methods behind this phenomenon and explore the potential for unifying these representations into a shared framework. Additionally, we will delve into exciting applications such as model merging, stitching, and reusing independently trained modules.
Our event is designed to foster an engaging exchange of ideas, highlighting discussions on theoretical frameworks, empirical research, and real-world applications. By bringing together community members—from undergraduates to professors—across Machine Learning, Neuroscience, and Cognitive Science, we aim to spark innovative collaborations.
